If you want to release tension, reduce stress and manage your anxiety more effectively, TRE (Tension and Trauma Release Exercises) might be just what you need.
TRE uses gentle movements to release deeply held muscle tension from your body leaving you feeling relaxed, refreshed, revitalised and restored.
TRE is a simple but powerful self-care practice you can use anywhere, any time you notice your stress, tension and anxiety levels starting to rise.
TRE can help you feel calmer, more grounded and better able to cope with life's challenges. Learning TRE is a safe, natural way to release tension, reduce stress, improve wellbeing and build resilience.
TRE Taster Groups cost $40* and last for 120 minutes. Groups will be held in person in Waimauku, Auckland or online on Zoom on the following dates (New Zealand times):
IN PERSON TASTER SESSIONS
ONLINE TASTER SESSIONS
If you'd prefer to set up a private Taster Group with your own friends, family or colleagues, please get in touch - I'd be happy to talk logistics.
In some cases, private sessions may be advised before joining a group TRE experience. I'm happy to chat about what's appropriate for you.
Developed by Dr David Berceli, TRE uses gentle exercises to stretch and fatigue various muscles. This activates a natural muscle tremor (shaking) response in your body. The shaking releases the tension that builds up in our bodies because of every day stressors or challenging life events.
All mammals have access to this natural protective response to let go of the pent up tension that accumulates in the body when we face threatening situations.
TRE is suitable for all body types and can be easily adapted for any age, fitness level or mobility challenge.

TRE is a safe, natural way for people to release tension, reduce stress and anxiety, improve health and wellbeing and build resilience.
